So if telcos were watching they would have seen 1 of 2 outcomes:
1. There is little appetite for a VM app; even when free based on under 5% penetration rate

or

2. The project roll-out is cumbersome

This would explain why there hasn't been a 2nd telco despite @Doz offering this gem from the same post:
