Ooops interrupted at end of my previous post, apologies. What I was getting at is that xrays are the first line of investigation for wrist fractures, and it is often assumed that of course they will pick up a fracture....well have a look at the sensitivity of the xray results from the abstract from the recent study....as low as 54% in some cases. This is not a surprise from a clinical perspective but I was highlighting that 91% is a good number to demonstrate for the Bard1 Ovarian test, and most importantly....yes most importantly...it is significantly better than the current standard!!
