Most CEOs do take advice and yeah it is a team effort , however that advice usually comes from within the business from other managers CFOs COOs and so on down the chain ...... they don't solely bring in an advisor ( unless ofcourse you are the Victorian labor party and then you have advisors for everything so you can point the finger at them when something stuffs up ) .
