Alternative energy sources are coming and I think no one is denying that but it how this is all implemented. That article that I quoted above is more about who loose out when the grids become unstable, that scenario will happen in other states as well. So we have really two main energy suppliers in renewables, commercial and private (household) and when the grid becomes unstable the first ones to lose all production are the mum and dads who have spent thousands on their roof but the commercial side of things don't loose a cent. This will become the norm, just like the hot water systems that they can turn on and off when they want during peak times. The mum and dad solar suppliers will be at the mercy of these companies and this will become more apparent when more commercial sites come on line. The grid is very unstable on high production days and at this stage it will continue for a long time.

Totally agree, chappy. It may seem to some that I don’t want change but that’s not true. I fully endorse and agree with the reality that the world as a whole needs to breakaway from our reliance on fossil fuels and replace it with a cleaner alternative. My issue is with how we get there not if we should.
