Well nice discussion I should say. I believe that overall HC is having up to some extent influence over the market. This is due to the fact that these type of groups normally involves retail small type investors which could hardly influence the price substantially. However, a DR can certainly influence people in the group. We have to accept that most of the people investing in HC have limited knowledge about the fundamentals of the company (Not taking away any advantage from others). They are trend followers and are highly dependent on others. They are vulnerable from our perspective.

With all instos currently gone from MGT, all we have is a retail investor base reflecting in the share price. If someone can shake this base could get desired advantage. It is always important to know what sentiments retailers are carrying about any particular stock.
