I think relationship building Is a huge ask when Greenland has:
. a small population, dispersed in a vast land mass, . only 1 in 2 Greenlanders have a high school diploma, . 40% of the population is under 25, and . speaking Danish is scorned by the young, Danes are seen as ‘colonisers’.
Add that to GML being a small company with possibly only 1 person who speaks both Danish and Greenlandic. Then take into account the multiple agendas being pushed by those in opposition to GML and the mine for various reasons.
