To be honest I had only viewed MTC as a trading stock and had no intention of holding long term. I bought and sold a couple of times for profit, but when the assay results dried up after 8th Dec the SP didn't go to my plan and instead kept falling. I agree the suggested lithium spin-out could be lucrative and make holding worthwhile after all. I'm not so sure about the gold project, though. The market seems to have made its feelings known about that and isn't going to get excited unless either some sensation assays materialise or else concrete development plans are set in place. Even then, management don't seem to be highly rated by punters either. Certainly I think a few holders might be similarly in two minds as to whether to sell out if they get back to even or to hold and take a punt. I do see the possibility of MTC being a multi-bagger but it's definitely not in a comfortable position on the risk/reward gauge.
