One aspect of MAG's Wellington North project I have been pondering is whether there are one or two porphyry systems.
As the systems at Caida, Boda, Norhtparkes are all a north west trend and as ALK state the deposits in the LFB are all on the same trend then it seems Roselawn, Rockleigh and Ninity deposits probably in one system as is Rose Hill, Morlkey and Lady Isle.
But are the 6 deposits all part of the one system? IMO it is unclear since Ninety, Roselawan and Rockleigh are about 4 kms away (mainly west) from the other 3 deposits (and if one were to incorporate the size of each deposit the system would probably be more than 5km wide). Cadia I think is about 5km long and 2km wide, Giant porphyry systems can be up 7-10km long and 5km wide (according to Ord Minnett research on Boda). So for all 6 deposits to be part of one system it will need to be a giant system.
