As I said, even if I were to put my toe in the water, it would be in a tiny way. I am leaning far more towards an extensive desk exercise following a lot more reading prior to any hard coin being risked. Malcolm Gladwell's 10,000 hours of practice theory has been debunked but I think he was on the right track when I see such a sound grasp of a technical subject.
What I find fascinating is the interaction between the FA investing principles and their interaction with the pure math of TA. The human animal has emotions and reflexes that drive our actions in ways that are quite predictable. The use of iterative mathematical formulae to derive these predictions is fascinating and compelling. Thanks again for the insight.
