Well, for my opinion these results are rather unexpectedly good!
The fact that we can recover ~95% of the contained gold and while doing that only retaining 5% of the mass is really top notch results and thats the main factor for my opinion what will contribute to the upcoming outstanding economics. To illustrate how significant this is take 20MTPA ore
you run it trought the ore sorter keep 46% of the mass and keep 90% of the contained gold,so you are down to 9.2MT,now you mill it and run trough a gravity floation and generate a rougher concentrate with 95.4% of the contained gold but only ~5% of the mass. So in the global sceeme at this stage we down to ~470 000tons rougher very high grade concentrate with 85.8% of the contained gold! And now you do the fine and really costly grinding on only <2.5% of the original ore! Which will end up in that intensive leach and recover 92.4% of the contained gold. So the global final gold recovery will be reached to a stunning ~79.2%!!! Which is honestly way way higher than what i tried to model previously(60-70%global gold recovery) and the fact that the intensive leach will only happend on ~2.5% of of the original ore mass is trully mind blowing for me,and i think thats why we get better economics this way than even heap leaching.
Even if we go on the average 0.3g/t material we would get the average material on this route to a good 10g/t and a very small ~2.5% mass before intensive dust like grinding, and intensive leaching where this last and most expensive 2 stage still wouldnt cost a very significant part of our overall recovered gold(at today prices most probably that last two component together would cost less than 0.5g/t).
All in all i think we are looking forward to a decent profit recovery in our PEA! Cant wait to get my hands on it.
