nearmap pulls out of Macquarie Conference

Executives from nearmap have cancelled their appearance at the Macquarie Conference this afternoon. The company was expected to make a presentation at about 4.45pm.
The withdrawal is likely linked to legal proceedings that the company revealed earlier today and that forced the stock into a trading halt.
Shares in nearmap are now frozen at $2.36, which is a 14.6 per cent gain on Tuesday’s close. The stock price jumped at this morning’s open after the $1 billion company announced after Tuesday’s close an upgrade to its annual contract value for the 2021 financial year.
The information technology sector is the only one in red this afternoon.
It is down 1.2 per cent thanks to a 3.4 per cent fall in Afterpay, a 2.8 per cent fall in Altium and a 1.9 per cent fall in WiseTech.
