I like your post - but the only thing that sticks in my throat with regards to this is that banks and bankers are out to make money.
They have been paid exorbitant figures for their risky endeavours motivated by at the very least selfish financial greed.
It is interesting to note that most Harvard Graduates seek jobs in investment banks as opposed to other areas let alone public service due to base and potential pay rates and I have no doubt power. (Yet not proven - note to self - stick to the facts!) Nice to see though that this has been trending down - so could this be a gen
Of course after banking comes the ultimate "power" play - politics. So if I'm a little more than cynical about "good citizenship" I think it is for good reason. Albeit mindful of tarring everybody with the same brush.
