How much better could things get for Biota, an excellent antiviral when the world has a real need, a pipeline with constant positive results including a cure to the common cold. Everyone's making money........ except the Biota shareholders. Apparently the only way Biota shareholders can make money is if they sell their shares. That would be like the Biota board of management only getting paid when they quit(I wish). That is why Biota shareholders realise after a while that management is only looking after themselves and the slush of Biota money and activity is completely irrelevant to share price.
The only time share price goes up is when newbies buy cheap Biota shares after influenza news. Then they scratch their heads and try to understand the charts, or post here and question the irrational behaviour of the share price.
ALL long term shareholders of Biota have made money, you have to make money to be able to afford keeping Biota shares. Owning Biota shares is like making a donation to Vinnies, or owning a polo horse.
Biota management has been so busy paying themselves that they have never asked themselves how Biota shareholders are meant to be paid. Unfortunately most Biota shareholders are too busy scratching their heads to work out it's the most important question.
....and that's why the Biota share price is completely divorced from anything shareholders can understand. It's a twenty year long Biota management con job, that should, at least, be queried, and at best be redressed at the next Biota AGM.
For those that think this is rubbish, I look forward to you scratching your heard again like a simpleton and wonder if Relenza will have to include turning sh!t into gold in the cure, for the share price to reach $2, and the answer to that is NO, Biota management still won't let it.
