I get that the announcement was negative and indicated harsher conditions and a likely downgrade in revenue and earnings. However, there was still minor positives addressed to soften the moderate negativity. An 18% drop on a CEO not revealing any financial data is indicative of an inefficient market. When the demand and supply levels out the price must return to somewhere midway between the $12-15 mark in the short term.
