I'm with you, but rejecting federal funding (NAIF) on the basis of poor project economics is in a whole different ballpark to approving an exploration permit which is privately funded (unless we get that tasty carbon capture money)
If these guys want to build their power plant i suspect they'll be allowed to, just not with government money
