Yes $45m is a lot for proving up value. But are you saying that $45m is sufficient to do the P3 trials ourselves?
Also Dr T has said several times that the "sweet spot" for a transaction is after P2.
And IMO without a partnership Australian retail investors won't drive the SP high enough to achieve a full value TO bid cold turkey, irrespective how good the P2 outcomes are.
