Old mate last bought shares in Nov 2019, which took his holding from 47% to 48%. There doesn't seem to have been any attempt to increase holding since then, despite SP seeming cheap. Maybe Covid was a distraction, but personally I think the old bloke is probably past it and he has too much going on elsewhere. AAC is just somewhere safe to park some funds with someone employed to keep an eye on his interests. He will never be allowed to gain full control so the poor performance of AAC is as much to his detriment as it is to ours, both in terms of dividends received and the value that he could sell out.
