Every Mistake Mentioned Here I Have Certainly Made, and I could no doubt add a few with my own twists.
And importantly, I'm a futures/commodities/forex trader, not equities, so let it be known that we are talking about Trading Mistakes indeed, not just share trading mistakes.
Personally regarding my mistakes, I beleive this.
The biggest mistake is to think you wont make one.
The second biggest mistake is to avoid looking at mistakes you have made. (Keep them records, as someone else has mentioned here)
The third biggest mistake is to neglect to learn from those mistakes you have made, and analyse ways and means to avoid repeating them.
A trading teacher I've recently come across (Dr Barry Burns, google for more) states that successful trading is all about minimising mistakes.
