Iron Ore Sale - Valuation

Thought we should do something useful in this interesting period.

So Iron Ore has surged to roughly $210 per tonne.
We own at least 250m tonnes

1. NPV has got to be over a $Bb, we will only get a small % , say 10% .

2. Gross value is 52.5Bn ish , let's take 1%

3. I have no idea. But clearly LKAB next door would value it highly due to synergies.


Any idea what that value might be. I did some calculations, they were outrageous. So rather than embarrass myself, I thought I would ask the question, anyone?

A decent size deal would limit dilution massively
