As long as you can learn from the mistake. Treat it as a tuition fee. To give you some comfort, I lost much more than you.
My lesson leant: Never invest in the company where top management's interest do not align with shareholders. Depends on individual risk appetite, for me, once it is dropped more than 25%, should cut loss no matter what. No excuse! I never heard of Peter Lynch, but I know I didn't cut loss on this one so one bad one have ruined almost all my good ones.
