I was questioning the 1/3 market-share assumption simply because it sounded quite high for a new entrant into any market, and thought that at the very least it would be a value-add to hear your reasoning behind the assumption.

I seem to be the only one that's really done any form of commenting on the actual detail of your analysis to date, so you should at the very least be happy to receive some questions rather than just putting the post out there and getting the standard 'thanks' (although not from as many as I would have expected) and then that's it.

Now that tackled this part of the question, unless others have additional questions to add, perhaps you can now get on with addressing the additional questions originally posed, plus the "(b)" "trade sale valuation approach happy to share in another post") that Bochman & I said 'yes please' to (in amongst games of golf and your usual mischief-making on PLT and FER threads of course).
