One more week (18th May) when the EIS submissions should become public, including what additional information (if any) is required as part of this, & it should give a clear indication of next steps. If the additional information is a formality (ie. TNG project team have anticipated requests), I'd imagine that the company has a strategy for marketing this project.
The demand for long life critical mineral projects in stable countries (required for decarbonization), from what I'm seeing, is going to be enormous & projects as progressed as TNG's TIVAN mine & refinery are going to be beneficiaries of this - might be part of why Jonathon Fisher was so confident of funding the project, because he'd have a better handle on this than I do, but the funds publicly committed to this already is off the scale.

Of course there could be a spanner in the works which will mean further delays, but based on the initial EIS submission & response, the TNG team should have anticipated/accounted for these. I'm not sure on the rules for raising new items considering that the supplement made massive improvements to water use & waste water discharge.
And we'll know in a week & if the refinery EIS is anything like the Sun Cable EIS, where the submissions are posted on the NTEPA website.
