PUR's "Julimar Discovery" in Calingiri East?, page-1566

I grew up in the Bolgart/Calingiri region. Never in my wildest dreams would I have predicted that this region would possibly become anything other than what it has been for decades, a Crop and Sheep farming region. I am no geologist, but can still vividly remember playing on the paddocks on volcanic like rocks that the farmers had upturned to prepare the fields. The rocks were different, and looked volcanic like, even to a small kid. Don't know if this is the geological features they are talking about, but wish I had become a geologist and studied these further.
Still very amazed that these rich resources have been under everyone's noses for soooo long, just outside a major metropolitan city like Perth. Let's hope Pursuit have some of the good ground, and the whole region can benefit, especially the locals, who's tiny towns and populations have shrunk dramatically over the years .
