had to sell, sob

my hardman journey ..

after at one stage holding 75000 hdr's i'm now down to my last 25000, (sob) sold my odd number from recent allocation because i needed to cash to pay tax bill (doubled the money certainly helped there) ... but now, the last 25000 are staying put until $5 ...

i'd bought most at .51-60 and always hoped to hold 50000 hdrs by this stage, but had a few debacles.

1. had some iin hnr in london but had my online brokers account there closed down because they found out i'd left the uk ... had to sell 15000 at $1 ... ####!!! they'd still be sitting there and worth double.

2. got nervous after the big rise and sold 35000 at $1.30ish just a week or so before the share allocation announcement ... more than doubled my money, but bleeding now (rolled a lot of it over into lum)

3. Only a few days before the share allocation announcement i bought 50,000 to day trade. They rose a cent and I held for an extra day (copped a u.o.us for my troubles) and got out for a $1500 profit (less brokerage) ... only a day or two later they announced the financing package ... now damn .. why didn't that come home to roost while i was loaded up!!!!

4. Sold my share allocation at $2.14 the day before they go on a two day run to $2.40 intra day ...

the lesson, don't trade hardman ... hold for the bigger paydays to come.
