I have read this statement concerning a large number of iterations needed to get the packaging completed as meaning that a potentially large number would be likely to be needed overall to ensure that each potential variable or weakness gets covered and dealt with. They are clearly mindful that there is no point wasting good dies to do these step by step iterations. I took Fred's follow on that they needed one to two additional iterations before being willing to authorise the packaging solution for use with "new/good" dies as being the reason they had not been able to complete the packaging to that level by the time of the need for an announcement to ASX overtook the project. But I also took one to two additional iterations fairly literally, meaning they were very close to having a finished and packaged device that would be ready for demo. I am assuming now that this has been underway since that time. The fact that we have the AGM in less than 2 weeks would seem to suggest that they are likely to have something to demo or at least announce to the AGM. At least that is my hope.
However at this stage I cannot see that it warrants flying over from NZ just for the possibility of an unannounced demo at the AGM. Who knows how long I might have to stay for that dubious privilege!
What does peeve me is that if the AGM is live it is likely to be only live, with no video capabilities for those unable to attend. I have urged the co to provide some kind of web or video link in the past but that does not seem to have been listened to. If anyone on HC thinks that would be a good idea also I urge posters to let them know this would be a good idea.
I wish I had more cash to splash on buying more AKP, especially at these prices. I imagine these sellers are going to have a bit of remorse in a very short time from now. But that's life. Spilt milk etc.
