As sure as night follows day, in the current greed-fuelled capital markets there is invariably a big retracement the day after a good news surge with any stock. Fundamentals increasingly ignored in favour of quick flips, instant gratification and crypto Ponzi trading. Every retail investor suddenly thinks they are a hedge fund. It’s pretty hard now for companies to build solid, sustainable growth into their share prices - whatever their achievements - when dealing with such a fickle “investor” (and I use the term loosely) market.
