HI Killa,
Lachlan and his team of experts will I'm sure pick the best mining method that suits the shape and size of the ore body. We amateurs are left to enjoying our hobby of discussing the possibilities to better understand what we are investing in and the choices that our team finally make.
As mentioned in the quarterly report, as the price of cu rises it becomes profitable to mine lower grades and I guess it also becomes viable to mine narrower lodes of high grade.
If you look at the block model for the Kavanagh 2020 resource estimate its about 200m x 200m and the resource is about 1mt which is about 330,000 cubic metres
So the average width in the 40,000 square metre block model is about 8m. That would it seems be suitable to the stoping method
We have now been told we have a 170 intersection with a grade of 1% which I would think needs to have a very low mining cost like bulk caving.
The experts will tell us soon enough.
