Art ... in the history of ADO since i have been invested i cannot recall that any roadshow that garnered interest that resulted in a significant sp rise that we have just seen... could management have predicted it ? well for me the jury is out on that one... i could theorise and say that the SI's could have created a FOMO scenario by buying up suddenly and that was the catalyst to the sp rise over the following weeks.. they could also have known that if they were on the register by 27th april they could potentially double dip in the SPP .. i could go on for hours making up all these conspiracy theories ... but imvho i don't think anyone actually foresaw what that roadshow would do..

so the 2 scenarios they had were (remember 26c was already locked in)

1. Battery announcement then CR 3 weeks later..
2. Battery announcement and then CR same time...

in the first scenario where do you think the sp would have been 3 weeks later ? I can almost hear the shrieking of foul play when the CR (that was already locked in at 26c) ann would have dropped all those weeks later... way worse than what actually happened.

Second scenario is what played out... and imvho was their only option... as 1. would have looked far worse and can you imagine the posts on here right now if we had fallen back from 50-70c to where we are now ?

it was a catch 22 for management and i suspect there was a lot of deliberation on this issue before they decided what to do.. it would not have been an easy decision either way...

PS there must be a reason why they needed funds so quickly.. i think we will find out in due course as to why they needed it... i reserve my judgement of their ability to execute when we find out if they needed the funds that urgently or not as this story unfolds... not guilty until proven guilty ? or are we going Bali style here and everyone is guilty until proven otherwise ?
