He is fairly weak but people do not vote for competance, they vote for identity reason and he plays those types like a fiddle.
Whole point of democracy though is to admit people do not vote rationally, so we restrict their powers, Take his religion for eg, whacko out there but not much he can do in power to force it on the rest of us In fact I think he has less power than when he was minister.
He is not worth worrying about. Well his warmongering is a concern, but otherwise he is just playing dress up like the Queen and some tribal types need that group narccisism to cling to, Just the way it is,
