I’ve read the whole thing Neetram and I think there are 2 big changes that potentially impact how NAÏF could interact with SFG/PSD: 1. NAÏF can directly assist companies, they previously had to fund a State or Territory. 2. NAÏF can take an equity component if they prefer, rather than just a loan. They can participate in the overall financial success of the project, rather than just earn low interest on any loan.
clearly though there has been months and years of previous negotiations which have come to nought. So surely if this is what they have been waiting for ( new NAÏF legislation), to be able to announce this month, they must have something ready to go. I certainly hope so, otherwise this whole business is an irrelevant side show
