IMHO the only way GGG can pursuade a change in opinion is to show, within their environmental studies, that there is extremely low risk of contamination to the nearby town. This may mean they need to enforce additional controls at additional expense (which is ok).
It is a bit worrying that the minister has come out with an outright no for kvanefjeld prior to completion of the environmental study.
