For those want to book capital loss to offset other gain, or carry forward capital loss in ur personal tax profile for future years, the transfer to super will trigger the capital gain or loss event. I have seen increased of kids with allergy and eczema, coindidently with increase consumption of dairy product and raise of middle class. Asian kids still take IF to age of 5 as nutrition substitute as fresh milk is expensive and some tasted like reconstituted milk power. Hot humid weather also mean the "fresh milk" really not the fresh or with a of preservatives. Our senior also use milk powder in their oat and milo beverage as nutritious supplement, I tried to look for A2 for senior for my parents, non available. Sad I could not fit the adut aA2 milk powder in my usual 40kg luggage going home to visit my parents in Malaysia I used to bring no 3 A2 IF to friends in Malaysia and Singapore to try out. They loved it but could not buy, only option is online. Any IF in Malaysia Singapre still seling at premium prce tham what we pay here, even with shipping cost for A2 still about the same price but with premium product. In the western countries toodlers start on fresh milk as young as one because fresh mik is cheap, that eat into IF consumption. A2 need to look at the social culture of market potential, not just based on birth rates.

I have previous wrote to A2 to explore the senior formula, just before they come out with pregnant moms formula which although is good but still target the same demographic of new birth vs a brand new market with rich retirees. In Asia the gifting culture also help the marketing, people buy premium A2 IF during the huge online sale platform, imagine with senior option, 1 for bub and 1 for grandma/grandpa. I think the A2 marketing group too concious on develop brand in baby market, may be not cool to have grand parents ad baby on same brand ? Why not convert the whole families from young to old ? a senior Malaysian friend of mine switched to A2 last year, all her life she thought she was lactose intolerant and being buying expensive lactose free milk which tasted awful in coffee and cereal. Just think about the potential market for countries with increased affluent middle age and aging populatins ? Anyway we believe in the product before i invested at $1.6, we switched to A2 15 years ago, when son had to cut diary due to allergy. DYOR
