I am still confused about that HCl price increase.
As I understand HCl is consumed to produce the Boron acid, but produced with the SOP Mannheim process,
Phase 1A was estimated to produce 9K T Boron Acid and 20K T SOP,
Phase 1B 60K additional SOP,
combined 1A+1B 9K BA and 80K SOP.
Total of all 3 phases was 450K BA and 400K SOP.
I would have thought Phase 1A and especially 1A and 1B combined would then net produce HCl and benefit from the increased price. But obviously not. What is wrong with my assumptions?
