So the increased shorting continues.
On May 10th the aggregate number of NUH shorted rose 346,820 shares. That amount, the difference between shares sold short and those bought back to cover shorts, was 6% of the days 5,712,270 traded.
I doubt anyone is "building a short position" in Nuheara - would be very risky to do that immediately prior to the HP numbers being announced.
Instead, I think that shares have been sold short since early January (from 86,745 on 6th Jan to 7,977,294 on 10th May) as a means of pushing down the share price. Credit Raising coming up? We know for sure that is not it. So what then? To allow for lower price accumulation. Two (commercial) entities in particular, have grown their holdings significantly, on market, since that time.
Why is the share price falling when we all think it should be rising? There are a number of reasons possible. This is one.
This is the first time in 5 years I've seen this set of actions play out for Nuheara.
