Yea, the geo’s would have an idea of the potential I would think, from my experience, nickel is visible but only at a very high grade.
And im pretty sure tretch? mentioned a while ago that palladium is not something that’s visually seen in core samples (wether or not this is the same for high grade in rock chips?)
And I’m not saying high grade mineralisation wasn’t seen either...
but the Mafic/ultra Mafic rock types would definitely give some clues to the trained eye greenie.
