The one thing I have come to realise recently is that money corrupts.
Sometimes the corruption falls inside the realms of legality sometimes it does not but it corrupts nonetheless.
I often look at punishment handed down for crimes against the person versus property crimes and have drawn the conclusion that as a society we value money much more than we value life and after seeing the things that both sides of the law will do to innocent parties in the pursuit of money I am really quite disgusted.
When the behaviour falls outside the realms of legality those with the most power, money and authority appear to me to be in the best position to avoid or minimise the consequences to themselves.
They have made TV series about some of the most blatant/dramatic episodes in history but I am certain that there are shenanigans occurring constantly.
