my guess is that there would be plenty of squeaky clean individuals that met the criteria for a licence. The wife of a police officer would be a shoe in, lol. Having worked in industry associated with gambling (a racing steward for several years), I have seen many lose their house yet tell u what a great night they've just had. Gambling is about 1 thing, revenue for the government. Many lives have been affected and destroyed. There are plenty of answers to problem gambling out there already. Its not rocket science, the government just aren't interested and would rather fund a few gambling hotlines and let people self exclude themselves. In saying the above, now AI and specifically BRN does have a link to rocket science, and that's exciting. My gambling rant. thanks for your posts FF, I do enjoy them and learning each day. P.S. a little story, I also worked in a Casino and vividly remember a patron at my blackjack table telling everyone how much he won the day before, whilst losing more than that amount in 30 minutes at my table. cheers
