@ValueInvestor123
- Maybe you should change your name to “Moat Investor”
- Can you share with us who you consider that have “moats” that you have invested and showing great returns please? Because I would like to learn a few things from you and make some money.
- To me, if a company can keep growing its revenue and profit, it is a good company especially if its share price is still low. Plus, I yet found a company with so called “moat” with no competitors at all.
- I agree that conventional thinking is about owning your own customer base, but once again why we are concerned about this conventional idea – let’s face it – if you own a shop and operate it in a Westfield shopping centre, do you need to know all these people walking into Westfield? You are there because Westfield can bring in a lots of customers. HT8’s model is just like that. Clearly, this is more efficient way to grow an online business in my view because it does not need to spend huge amount of marketing money.
- To be frank, I am not here to look for another Amazon or Afterpay (BTW, it was a micro-cap not long ago and what is its moat?), I am here to try to make a good return, so if this company is undervalued and can keep delivering nice results, then I am happy as a long term shareholder.
- HT8 is a micro-cap company, it has relatively low revenue comparing big players and its share price is low, but isn’t it why we invest in it now? If it was already very large and having a high overvalued share price, then what would be the point for us as shareholders? We may as well put money into BHP or Telstra! (I suspect they must have big “moats” but we cannot really make capital gains)
- Feel free to sell all your holdings if you don’t believe in the company’s future, but I do and I bet on it. Myself and a few others have outstanding orders to be filled.
@Ackers09
My understanding is ITproduct shortage occurred last year during the pandemic and it is stillongoing. The outstanding sales performance of HT8s already demonstrated itsability to secure stock and deliver stronger revenue. Personally, I believechipset shortage plays into its strength because it’s a well established withboth local or overseas suppliers. HT8 recently also secured a handsome $5Mfunding, so it is in a very nice position to benefit from the current marketsituation. My opinion only.
