Some interesting points there:

(1) "He discussed the resource and made mention of the fact that they had similar if not better results some 6km away from the main project area. Whilst not expressly stated, the vibe of the description lead me to believe that this could well become the largest REE deposit in the world."

One thing I was looking for before the recent political uncertainty was the assay results for the explotation targets away from Kvajenfeld. All this got forgotten about with the elections and what not. They were expected to be consistent with the existing deposit. Could be very useful in the future.

(2) "Jeremy stated that GL seriously lack skilled labour and that if the project were to go ahead, they would need to start training locals NOW. IMO this could be a point of negotiation for the company in that they could potentially start a "school of mines" employing / training locals etc"

This was a problem for other projects in Greenland also. I think it was Angus & Ross who were going to recruit skilled staff from South Africa for their Black Angel project. Never evatuated since the commodity crash made the project uneconomic.

(3) "A question was raised regarding other mineral projects in the pipeline within GL that could generate royalties for the govt. The answer contained several projects however the common thread was that most were suspended or ceased due to uneconomic conditions"

Quadra's molybdenum deposit is the stand out project and appears economic. But the price of moly has been smashed from over $30 to as low as $8 and going by other moly projects around the world it is almost impossible to raise capital to develop a mine for this commodity at the moment. I dont think that this deposit is a priority for Quadra either.


There's still potential for GGG out there. The sp may take a beating when return from suspension but ultimately the company has cash and Kvajenfled aside, if the exploration drilling away from the town is positive as expected then it will bring a new lease of life for GGG. Also, yesterday I discovered that I still hold 3200 shares by accident so I have to change my disclosure to stock held!
