There is some very good information on "halo" over on IPT on some of their announcements in relation to a Zinc Halo or "doughnut" that the good Dr refers to over on that thread. Probably a few ann 3 months or more older explains it very well I believe.....
That is why in my non-geo knowledge terms I m very interested in McGregor and Kaiser as I took a drive out there about two weeks ago and reckon the terrain is virtually identical to the IPT Apsley ground that has two magnetic deposits at relatively shallow depth and both have "halo's" around them.
I am a complete mug when it comes to geo knowledge, The only Halo I have ever known of is the one hovering above my scone all these years, but it regularly disappears about 3 beers in
