I have to say that I am disappointed in the Opposition at the moment. I have no problems with Turnbull having a bit of a go at Rudd and Swan. That's fair enough.
But, he let it go on too long. Should have had an "exit strategy". Set the old "stop loss". Easy for me to say now with the value of hindsight, but clearly, Swan was the best target. Turnbull went for both Rudd and Swan at the same time, and that was always going to be a huge task.
I suppose Turnbull will now be judged on his political judgement.
I still say there is something in this whole matter, but the Opposition has lost the advantage now.
