Ok. I’m reading more into this now on Wikipedia. It appears that generic specs for a Li-S battery compared to generic specs for a Li-Ion battery make it about twice the size and half the weight for comparable energy storage.

I studied electrical engineering a long time ago but am no authority on this subject. Happy to be corrected by the better informed people on here.
