Years ago, I decided to build a gold portfolio for the long term. On the whole it was an excellent decision. It included NST (first shares bought at 90c, most at <$2), EVN, and NCM which I liked because it also has copper exposure. Sadly, I included this SBM dog of a share too. Fortunately it was my smallest exposure right from the beginning, and now by far the smallest because of its chronic underperformance.
All I can hope for is that someone lobs a takeover offer at some point.
