Looks like REST initiated a block trade and that information was leaked, hence the perception of shorting. It took them 5 months to off-load and around a 20% hair cut.
COE is trading slightly above book value going into an east coast gas shortage and numerous legacy gas contracts are expiring around 2022 - 2023. COE has the marginal price for east coast gas compared to other suppliers for delivery into Melbourne.
