On Wednesday 19 May, UMG announced its half yearly with a dividend of two cents a share, so given GNC holds about 25.4 million UMG shares, that's a nice little $500000 for GNC.
UMG's outlook is uncertain given COVID_19, but craft beer volumes have risen and particularly in the UK, there's pent-up demand for beer as pubs are allowed to serve it in the open (and hopefully, soon inside as well). Trading in USA has also improved, but Canada remains a worry. Australia is only seven per cent of UMG sales so barely rates a mention.
