Next year, Aurelia is reconfiguring Hera to take Federation ore. Wirlong is 20km from Hera. Peel is a screaming takeover target for Aurelia. It becomes more compelling which ever way one looks.
You heard it first here. This time next year, Peel wont exist and soon after, your precious deep copper will be out in the sunlight going through an AMI plant.
