China's ultimate goal is to become superpower and number one economy in the world. I don't think any country can achieve that by alienating all other major economies. Just because China-AU relations currently are not in their best it does not mean China will make it hard for everyone. Look at Russia, they are in total sh!t after it alienated itself from the west. I don't think China want to go same way. And China's trade with the US right now is bigger that ever despite chinese "rules of law"
