They can mis-spell cancer, canTer, Ancer, or Dancer for that matter, patients would care less as long as they have a treatment for it, and hear it from someone in the field and on the ground.
Man, I have written or reviewed a number of medical scientific articles or post-graduate thesis, and see, yesterday I could not spell "speyulate", even after my proof read!
Get over it, focus on the real thing.
