Patience. Talga has had it more than most of us. I doubt they let up now, so close to the finish.
Obtaining a mining permit is a PITA, at least where I live (the united states). It appears no different in Sweden. It is in the hands of the Swedish geological survey as far as I can tell, at this point.
The SGS is made up of people, people who are educated and who want a green future. The sentiment that a graphite mine is a move toward a carbon neutral future is significant. If talga wanted a coal mine, or an iron mine for that matter, they would not have a compelling case. Graphite for electric cars, that is something the people of the SGS can support. Good for the economy, good for the planet, good for Sweden.
I imagine the announcement of COVID-related delays might push timelines back 3-9 month, but that is not the end of the world. We just need some more patience. (When) Talga has the bigger permit in hand, things can really take off. Maybe talga has to prove that they will operate cleanly as they say they will, worst case scenario.
Patience.
