We can only assume that the "consultant" is an expert in the field and can conclude they've seem something they like. Once the share price is above 23c, they are taking far more than their original fees and it's tax free. ie; if you earn $570k in fees, tax would be atleast 20%, hence $450k in hand to buy shares. With a share price of 40c (as per Evolution price Target Nov 2020), they would be sitting on $1.59m. And for the company, they get a valuable shareholder on board, consulting fees at no cost and a contribution of $810k when they exercise (ie; reimbursed $ for $ for shares just purchased in the buy back). It's a bit of paper shuffling (smoke and mirrors) but a win win as far as I'm concerned.
